Volleyball

Practices/Tryouts will begin during the first week of September. Students will then be divided into the various teams. Depending on the number of coaches and players there is the possibility of an "A" team and a "B" team.

"A" teams compete in the Wolf Creek Volleyball League. The team will meet 2 – 3 times per week with usually one of those times being a league game and the other times being practices. Teams can expect to play 6 – 8 matches during league play. The league will end with a League Championship tournament (usually the 1st week in November). Teams will then compete at the CWAJHAA qualifying tournament (usually the 2nd week or weekend in November). If successful at the CWAJHAA qualifying tournament the team will then compete at the CWAJHAA Championships (usually the 3rd weekend in November). In addition, teams will attend 1 – 2 invitational tournaments during the season.

Sr. High teams compete in the CASAA 1A league. The team will meet 2 – 3 times per week with usually one of those times being a league game and the other times being practices. Teams can expect to play 6 – 8 matches during league play. The league will end with an Area tournament (2nd week in November). If the team qualifies at the Area level they will then move on to the Zone tournament (3rd weekend in November). If the team qualifies at the Zone level they will then move on to the Provincial tournament (4th weekend in November). In addition, teams will attend 2 – 3 invitational tournaments during the season.

* Other events beside those described above may take place during the sport season. If there are any costs associated with those extra events, additional fees may be charged at that time.
