Badminton

Jr. High badminton tryouts/practices will begin in late March. Students who secure a position on the badminton team can expect 2 - 3 practices per week. Players will then compete in the Wolf Creek North Tournament (late April). Players who finish in the top 4 in the Wolf Creek North tournament qualify to compete in the Wolf Creek Championships (late April/ early May). Players who finish first or second in the Wolf Creek Championships tournament will compete at the CWAJHAA Championships (second weekend in May).

Sr. High badminton tryouts/practices will begin in early March. Students who secure a position on the badminton team can expect 2 - 3 practices per week. Players will compete at the Area tournament (usually during the 3rd week in April). Players who finish in the top 2 at the Area tournament qualify to compete at the Zone tournament (usually the last weekend in April). Players who finish in the top 2 at the Zone tournament qualify to compete at the Provincial tournament (usually the first weekend in May).

*Other events beside those described above may take place during the sport season. If there are any costs associated with those extra events, additional fees may be charged at that time.
